Colors help give life to our world. This week's collaboration is aimed at building a collection of them across a variety of languages, and ideally assembling a collection of audio files so that people can hear what the words sound like. • August 1 - Planned date of the final Romanian BBC broadcast.
• June 25 - The BBC announces that it will be shutting down its Romanian language service on August 1, 2008.
• June 23 - Cyw, a block of Welsh language programming for young children on S4C Digidol in Wales, is launched.
• June 15 - The Cornish Language Partnership has published a series of children's books in Cornish and intends to distribute a free copy of any of the six titles to every Year 3 child in Cornwall.
• May 27 - Dr. Harry Tomlinson publishes A Descriptive Grammar of Guernsey French, a guide to the correct use and pronunciation of Guernésiais, a French dialect.
